What is TENS?

TENS is a non-pharmacological, non-invasive method of pain relief, which stimulates the perceptual nerves by means of a mild microcurrent(usually less than 25 microcoulombs per unit of time) to block the transmission of nociceptive nerve signals to achieve pain relief. TENS Unit is optimal in reduce pain caused by old injuries, carpal tunnel, sciatica, menstrual cramps, etc.

What is EMS?

Q1: How does TENS Unit work with your pain?

Scientific theory suggests TENS can work in several ways, including: the pulses can block the pain message from reaching the brain, the stimulation triggers the body to produce more endorphins (a natural pain killer) or the therapy improves blood circulation. Some theories posit that it’s a combination of both of these effects or maybe something else entirely. Whatever may be the case, TENS units have been proven to work, and the pain relief they offer can’t be attributed to the placebo effect.

Q2. The tens unit muscle stimulator does not work?

1. The device has run out of battery.

2. The pads are not connected properly, so the intensity cannot be increased. Please make sure the lead wire is connected with the port and the pair of pads are pasted above the massage areas well, or we can’t adjust intensity successfully.

3. The device has a timer function and will automatically shut off when the set time ends. The default time is 20 minutes.

4. The lock button was accidentally pressed. Once locked, other buttons will not respond. To unlock, long press the center button.

Q3: Why pads no sticky after several days?

A: Skin must be clean and dry. Dirty or oily skin will prevent electrode adhesion. Applying a few drops of water after usage will increase the longevity of the pads and let them dry naturally. Place pads on the holder or place plastic film to keep the gel moisture after use.
