Avoid essential oils, perfumes, distilled, or filtered water, as these can clog the cotton wick and cause malfunctions. ④Make sure the cotton wick is fully soaked for a few minutes before turning the device on. ⑤After powering on, allow up to one minute for the mist to begin.
